Yealand CE Primary has a very active Eco Group, who work to ensure that we are all eco-friendly and caring for the school as well as the environment. This includes collecting cardboard, paper, batteries, crisp wrappers, printer cartridges, used felt pens and other plastic used items. The group switch off lights, when not in use and ensure computers are logged off and switched off at the end of the school day.
The group is led by a Year 6 pupil and together they lead the school in a number of different projects to continue the schools sustainability.
