School Dinners

High quality school lunches are available, currently at a cost of £2.30 per day.  Parents can pay half termly or weekly in advance. There is some flexibility for purchasing meals on a ‘part time’ basis for example on certain days of the week rather than every day.

Alternatively children may bring a packed lunch. Sweets should not be included. Drinks should be in a plastic container or carton and a straw or cup provided.

Healthy snack are allowed for morning break.

Milk

Milk is available for  Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 children at a cost of £7.50 per term, subsidised under the EC School Milk Scheme. The children receive a third of a pint of milk each day.

Fruit and Vegetables

The school is registered under the National Healthy Schools programme and is always looking for ways to encourage children to enjoy a healthy lifestyle. Free fruit/vegetable are provided for children in class 1 by the Government as part of the National School Fruit and Vegetable scheme. Each child receives one piece of fruit or vegetable each day before the start of the afternoon teaching session.
