Welcome to our wonderful school,

I am Kathryn Brown and I have the great privilege of being the Headteacher of Yealand Church of England Primary School, which sits within an area of outstanding beauty to the north of Lancashire, surrounded by open fields. We are lucky enough to have a field, adventure playground, nature garden and we have our own off-site forest school which is located in a nearby wooded area.

We are a small but mighty school, which inspires and nurtures our children to become the most amazing individuals who flourish and live out our Christian values far beyond our school gate.

Yealand Church of England Primary School has strong links within the community and with our church St. John’s Church, Yealand. We attend church regularly and Rev. Alice Ormondroyd celebrates worship with us every fortnight. We are lucky to have a strong extremely supportive Governing Body, who have a presence within school and work in partnership with all our amazing staff.

We also have our own school minibus which means we can go out and about to explore our local area easily. We love to provide our children with lots of experiences beyond the classroom, we will often be found learning out and about.
